Back to School

"Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.'" Matthew 19:14

Teacher Training Seminar

Each year at the beginning of September, our teachers come together to learn and be inspired by guest speakers who encourage them to make learning fun and engaging for the students in their classes. This year we provided breakfast and lunch on both days of the seminar.

School started on September 9 with the children happy to be back and getting fed again!

Update on Funds for School

Dear Friends and Supporters,

In light of recent challenges, a few of our sponsors have had to withdraw their support due to financial difficulties. However, we are incredibly grateful for the generosity of a few supporters who have gone above and beyond, helping us keep our teachers paid and our meal programs running.

Thanks to their contributions, we are still making a difference, but we now have only 99 children sponsored, with around 90 more in need of sponsorship. Your help can make all the difference! Please consider sharing our program with friends and family so we can continue supporting the school and these precious children.

Fencing Project Update

If you have been following our updates over the past few months, you'll recall that the fence around the new mini school has been repeatedly damaged due to heavy rains and erosion.

Originally purchased by the Liberians, this fence now needs to be professionally rebuilt by a contractor.

We've also decided to fence the entire property, as the open areas are being used by the community for foot traffic and parking. Currently, the fence only surrounds the mini school, leaving the rest of the property exposed.

The contractor will be digging down 3 feet for each support post and pouring concrete to make the fence stand up to the environmental elements.

To complete this important project, which will safeguard the children, the land, and the school building, we aim to raise $3,000. Your support would be greatly appreciated.
